How to start
Tell us what you need in your own words. You talk to the developers who would build it and get a written, line-item estimate.
Get a project estimateMany clinics in India run on tokens rather than fixed slots. Doctors arrive after hospital rounds, consultations vary from three minutes to thirty, and many patients simply walk in. A doctor appointment app that pretends every visit is a fifteen-minute slot creates more confusion, not less.
We support both models. Slots suit dentists, physiotherapists and specialists with predictable visits; tokens with a live "now serving" status suit busy general physicians and paediatricians. Patients see an estimated turn time and get a WhatsApp nudge when it is close. The reception console merges online, phone and walk-in patients into one queue.
Challenges
Live queue status and "your turn is near" alerts let patients arrive closer to their time.
One schedule that every clinic reception can see, for doctors who move between clinics.
Booked patients are told and offered alternatives automatically when a doctor is late or on leave.
Pre-registration in the app, or ABDM's Scan and Share where supported, shortens the queue.

How it works
Online, phone and walk-in patients end up in one queue that everyone can see.
The patient, or a relative, chooses a doctor and session, books a slot or token and can pay the fee online.
On the day, the patient sees which token is being served and gets a nudge when their turn is near.
Online, phone and walk-in patients join one queue; reception checks them in, records vitals and prints a token.
The doctor calls the next patient from the queue and sees previous visits and prescriptions.
The prescription is saved to the visit, and a follow-up date within the free revisit window is suggested.
Waiting times, no-shows and sessions per doctor show where the schedule needs adjusting.
Platforms
Patients use an app or the clinic website; reception uses a tablet or desktop, and a TV shows the current token.
Apps for Android phones and tablets, tested on budget and mid-range devices and published on Google Play or privately.
Apps for iPhone and iPad, built to Apple's guidelines and released through TestFlight and the App Store.
Marketing and content websites: fast, search-friendly pages with a CMS your team can update without a developer.
Browser-based applications with logins, roles and workflows, such as customer portals, SaaS products and internal tools.
Back-office panels for operations, support and finance teams: orders, users, content, reports and permissions.
Technology
These keep queue positions updating as the doctor sees patients and reminders going out on time.

Cost drivers
Both models with live queue estimates take more work than fixed slots alone.
Multi-location schedules and central reporting add admin complexity.
Syncing with existing hospital software depends on its API and often sets the timeline.
Online fees with automatic refunds and settlement reports add work.
Estimates are written from your scope, with the effort and assumptions behind each line item.

FAQ
It depends on how predictable consultations are. If most visits take a similar time, as with physiotherapy or dental follow-ups, slots work well. If durations vary widely and walk-ins are common, tokens with an estimated turn time are more honest. Many clinics mix them, with a few bookable slots at the start of a session and tokens after, and different doctors can use different models.
It uses the doctor's actual start time, the token being served, patients checked in ahead and a rolling average of that doctor's recent consultation durations. The estimate appears as a range and updates as the queue moves. An emergency or complex case can still hold up a session, so patients are notified when their turn moves significantly.
Yes. One mobile number can hold several family profiles, each with its own visit history and prescriptions. A caregiver can book, receive reminders and view records for the family members they manage, while adult members can be asked to confirm that access. This matches how many Indian families use healthcare, with one person coordinating visits for parents, children and in-laws.
If your current software has an API, the app can sync doctors, slots and registrations with it, so reception keeps its familiar system. If not, our reception console can become the scheduling system while billing stays where it is, or the old software can be replaced entirely. We review your setup in discovery and recommend the least disruptive route.
