Who it's for

We work with studios and esports organisers on what surrounds the game. We don't build AAA game engines or real-money gaming products.

Where we fit in a game's stack

Studios usually build the game client in Unity, Unreal or Godot and need help with what surrounds it: player accounts, cloud saves, leaderboards, live-ops tools and analytics. We also build esports platforms, companion apps and casual HTML5 games.

India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games, so we work only on esports, social and casual games.

Challenges

Engineering pressures on game teams

  1. Launch-day load

Leaderboards and lobbies must absorb surges without lag.

  2. Live operations

Events and offers should ship without an app release.

  3. Store billing rules

Virtual goods generally require Google Play Billing or Apple in-app purchase.

  4. Cheating

Server-side validation protects rankings from tampered clients.

What we build for gaming

  • Player services

Accounts, cloud saves and inventories as APIs.

  • Tournaments

Registrations, brackets, seasons and leaderboards for esports.

  • Live-ops dashboard

Remote config, event scheduling and offer management.

  • Companion apps

Team chat, stats and match schedules.

  • Web games

HTML5 games for campaigns and communities.

How it works

How an esports tournament runs on the platform

The same player accounts and leaderboards also serve your game between tournaments.

  1. Tournament website

    Step 1: Teams register

Captains create a team, invite players and verify their in-game IDs before the registration deadline.

  2. Organiser console

    Step 2: Brackets are generated

When registration closes, the platform seeds teams into a single-elimination, round-robin or Swiss bracket and publishes the match schedule.

  3. Companion app

Step 3: Teams check in before each match

Teams confirm within a window before start time; no-shows forfeit automatically, which keeps the schedule on time.

  4. Companion app

    Step 4: Scores are submitted

After the match, captains submit the score with a screenshot, or results arrive from the publisher's API where one exists.

  5. Admin console

    Step 5: Disputes are reviewed

If the two captains disagree, an admin reviews the evidence and confirms the result.

  6. Player services

    Step 6: Leaderboard updates

Rankings and season points update for everyone following, calculated on the server so a tampered game client cannot change them.

Platforms

Surfaces around your game

  • Mobile

    Cross-platform mobile app

One Flutter or React Native codebase for Android and iOS, with native modules where a feature needs them.

  • Web

    Web application

Browser-based applications with logins, roles and workflows, such as customer portals, SaaS products and internal tools.

  • Back office

    Admin dashboard

Back-office panels for operations, support and finance teams: orders, users, content, reports and permissions.

  • Web

    Progressive web app

Installable web apps with offline support and notifications, useful when an app-store listing isn't essential or phones have little storage.

Technology

Our gaming stack

Node.js and NestJS run player services, Redis keeps leaderboards instant under load, and Docker lets the backend scale out quickly on launch day.

  • Backend

    Node.js

Runs the server side of apps: fast, scalable back ends that power your app, website and integrations.

    Used for

    • App back ends
    • Live order tracking
    • Chat and notifications
    • Payment processing
  • Backend

    NestJS

A structured way to build back ends on Node.js, so large business systems stay organised, testable and easy to hand over.

    Used for

    • Business app back ends
    • SaaS platforms
    • Marketplaces
    • Admin panel back ends
  • Data

    Redis

Keeps frequently used data in fast memory, so apps stay quick on busy days and live features like order tracking feel instant.

    Used for

    • Faster apps
    • Live order status
    • Shopping carts
    • Job queues and alerts
  • A reliable database for the records your business runs on: orders, payments, bookings and stock, kept accurate and easy to report on.

    Used for

    • Orders and customers
    • Payments and ledgers
    • Stock and inventory
    • Bookings
  • A flexible database for records that vary a lot from one to the next, such as mixed product catalogues, content and activity logs.

    Used for

    • Product catalogues
    • Content and articles
    • Activity logs
    • Chat messages
  • Cloud & DevOps

    AWS

Cloud hosting for your app, website and data, with data centres in India and room to grow when traffic rises.

    Used for

    • App hosting
    • File and photo storage
    • Backups
    • Busy sale days
  • Cloud & DevOps

    Docker

Packages your software so it runs the same way on every laptop and server, which makes releases predictable and moving hosts easier.

    Used for

    • Reliable releases
    • Same setup everywhere
    • Faster onboarding
    • Easy scaling
  • Builds interactive screens in the browser, such as dashboards, admin panels and portals, that respond instantly as your team works.

    Used for

    • Web apps
    • Admin panels
    • Dashboards
    • Customer portals

Plain-English glossary

Game backend terms, in plain English

Live ops
Running a game after launch through events, offers and seasonal content. A live-ops dashboard lets your team schedule these without shipping a new app version and waiting for store review.
Remote config
Settings kept on the server that the game reads when it starts, such as event dates, prices or difficulty. Changing them updates every player's game at once, with no app release.
Server-side validation
The server checks every score, purchase and result instead of trusting what a player's device reports. It stops modified clients from faking wins or items and keeps rankings fair.
Cloud save
A player’s progress stored on your servers rather than only on their phone, so it survives a lost device and carries over to a new one.
Swiss format
A tournament format in which teams with similar records meet each round and nobody is knocked out early. It suits large online events because every team plays several matches.

Screens for players, captains and your live-ops team

  • Gaming software companion app season 3 standings table on a phone, with 5 rows and status labels
Companion app. Players follow standings that update after every verified match; points are calculated on the server, so rankings stay fair.
  • Gaming software companion app submit result on a phone, with input fields and an action button
Companion app. Captains submit scores with a screenshot; if the opponent disagrees, the match goes to an admin instead of an argument in the group chat.
  • Gaming software live-ops dashboard scheduled events and offers table in a web browser, with 4 rows and status labels
Live-ops dashboard. Your team schedules events, offers and banners through remote config and sees what is live right now, without waiting for an app-store release.

Cost drivers

Gaming project cost drivers

  1. Real-time requirements

Real-time multiplayer state is harder than turn-based play.

  2. Anti-cheat depth

Checks beyond basic server validation add ongoing work.

  3. Launch regions

Global launches need multi-region hosting and load testing.

Estimates are written from your scope, with the effort and assumptions behind each line item.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you develop games in Unity or Unreal?

Game-client development is not our focus. We build the services a Unity, Unreal or Godot client calls: authentication, leaderboards, inventories, matchmaking lobbies, live-ops and analytics. For lighter projects, such as branded web games, we build HTML5 games end to end. For a 3D game from scratch, we will point you to a specialist studio.

Can you build a tournament platform for an esports community?

Yes. Typical platforms cover team registration, verified game IDs, bracket formats (single or double elimination, round-robin, Swiss), check-ins, score submission with screenshots, disputes and leaderboards. Where a publisher offers a results API, scores flow in automatically; otherwise admins verify them. Prizes are organiser-funded; we do not build entry-fee formats.

How do you handle in-app purchases for a mobile game?

Digital items sold inside Android and iOS apps generally must use Google Play Billing and Apple’s in-app purchase. We verify every receipt server-side before granting items, process refunds from store notifications and keep a ledger of player balances. Physical merchandise sold on your website can use a regular gateway such as Razorpay.
