Who it's for

We build branded online learning platforms for educators and organisations moving teaching online: course builders, cohort scheduling, live-session integration, assessments, verifiable certificates, and checkout with UPI and GST invoices. It is an alternative to renting a generic course marketplace when you need control over pricing, data and the learner experience.

Your own course platform, on your terms

Many educators start on a course marketplace or a patchwork of Zoom, Google Forms, payment links and WhatsApp groups. It works until the course grows: learners lose links, certificates are made by hand, and platform fees or rules limit how you price and bundle courses.

We build online learning platforms you own. The core is a course and cohort engine; around it sit live sessions, assessments, certificates, community and payments. Colleges and universities offering online programmes need the same foundations plus proctored exams and links to student records.

Challenges

Why course businesses outgrow simple tools

  1. A fragmented learner journey

Payment, access, sessions and materials sit in different tools, so support queries multiply.

  2. Manual grading and certificates

Instructors check assignments and issue certificates by hand as cohorts grow.

  3. Limited control on marketplaces

Pricing, learner data and branding are constrained by someone else's rules.

  4. Completion drop-off

Self-paced learners stall without reminders, deadlines or peer interaction.

Platform features for online courses

  • Course and cohort builder

Modules, drip schedules, cohort start dates and prerequisites without developer help.

  • Live sessions

Zoom or Google Meet sessions created through their APIs, attendance captured and recordings posted.

  • Assignments and quizzes

Graded quizzes, file submissions, rubrics and peer review.

  • Verifiable certificates

Auto-issued certificates with a unique verification link and QR code.

  • Checkout and access

UPI and card payments, coupons, bundles and GST invoices, with access granted instantly.

  • SCORM and xAPI support

Import existing authored content packages and report learner progress.

How it works

How a cohort course runs from checkout to certificate

  1. Course website

Step 1: Learner buys the course

Payment by UPI or card issues a GST invoice and unlocks access immediately, with no manual enrolment by your team.

  2. Course platform

Step 2: Joins the cohort and sees the schedule

The learner lands in the right cohort, sees when each module opens and receives calendar invites for live sessions.

  3. Instructor

    Step 3: Attends live sessions

Sessions are created on Zoom or Google Meet through their APIs, attendance is recorded and the recording is posted afterwards.

  4. Instructor or peers

Step 4: Submits assignments for grading

Quizzes grade themselves; files are marked against a rubric or by peer review, which spreads the load as cohorts grow.

  5. Course platform

Step 5: Gets nudged when falling behind

Learners who miss a deadline or stop watching get an email or WhatsApp reminder, which lifts completion.

  6. Course platform

Step 6: Receives a verifiable certificate

Learners who finish get a certificate with a unique link and QR code that an employer can check in seconds.

Plain-English glossary

Course platform terms, in plain English

Drip schedule
Releasing lessons on a timetable, such as one module a week, instead of all at once. It keeps a cohort moving together and reduces the number of learners who start strong and stop.
SCORM and xAPI
Standard formats for packaging e-learning content and reporting progress. Supporting them lets you reuse courses built in authoring tools and send progress to corporate clients' own systems.
PWA
Progressive web app: a website learners can add to their phone's home screen that caches content. It feels like an app before you invest in separate builds for Android and iOS.
Cohort
A group of learners who start and progress together on fixed dates. Cohorts need schedules, deadlines and community features that a self-paced video library does not.

What learners and instructors see on your own platform

  • Online learning software learner view week 3 on a phone, with 4 entries
Learner view. Learners always know what to watch, which live session is next and what is due, without hunting through emails and group chats.
  • Online learning software course checkout on a phone, with UPI, debit or credit card and EMI on cards options
Course checkout. Checkout takes UPI or cards, applies coupons and bundles, issues a GST invoice and grants access the moment payment succeeds.
  • Online learning software instructor dashboard cohort 7 table in a web browser, with 3 rows and status labels
Instructor dashboard. Instructors see who is on track and who needs a nudge, and certificates go out automatically when learners finish.

Cost drivers

Estimating an online learning platform

  1. Delivery formats

Self-paced video is lighter than cohorts with live sessions, assignments and peer review.

  2. Web first or native apps

A responsive web platform or PWA can launch first; native apps with offline downloads add a separate build.

  3. Institutional requirements

Proctoring, student-record integration and accreditation reports add scope for universities.

Estimates are written from your scope, with the effort and assumptions behind each line item.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is a custom platform worth it compared with a course marketplace or SaaS tool?

Not always. If you are validating one or two courses, a hosted tool is cheaper and faster. A custom platform starts to make sense when platform fees become significant, you need control of learner data and pricing, you run cohorts with complex schedules, or you want corporate batches, institutional reporting or your own mobile app. We will say so if a hosted tool suits your stage better.

Can the platform run proctored online exams?

Yes, at different levels. Light proctoring uses randomised questions, time limits and browser checks. Stronger setups add webcam snapshots, face match at login and flags for events such as a second face in frame, which a human invigilator reviews. No automated proctoring is foolproof, and heavy monitoring raises privacy concerns, so we record consent, keep captures only as long as needed, and leave the final call to your examiners.

Can learners download lessons to watch offline?

In our mobile apps, yes: lessons download in encrypted form, play only inside the app and expire with course access. Browser-based offline viewing is limited, so if many learners have unreliable connections we suggest a PWA or native app. We also offer lower-resolution streams and audio-only modes for lectures where visuals matter less, which helps learners on small data plans.
