Who it's for

We build client and adviser tools for the investment industry: digital onboarding with KYC checks, risk profiling, mutual fund transactions through exchange platforms, consolidated portfolio views, goal tracking and clear client reports. We build the software; advice, suitability and registration obligations stay with your firm.

Portfolio software for advisers and distributors

Wealth businesses in India range from individual mutual fund distributors to SEBI-registered investment advisers, PMS providers and family offices. They share a daily problem: client holdings sit across AMCs, depositories and brokers, so a single view needs statement parsing or consent-based data, and every transaction needs a separate platform login.

We build apps and back-office systems that pull this together: onboarding with KYC checks, risk profiling, portfolio consolidation from CAS statements or Account Aggregator data, SIP and transaction journeys through BSE StAR MF or NSE's mutual fund platform, and reports clients can understand.

Challenges

Recurring pain points in wealth operations

  1. Fragmented holdings

Mutual funds, shares, bonds and deposits sit with different intermediaries in different formats.

  2. Advice versus distribution

SEBI keeps advisory and distribution roles separate, so journeys, fees and disclosures differ by registration.

  3. Manual reporting

Capital gains, XIRR and goal progress are compiled in spreadsheets every quarter.

  4. Inconsistent client contact

Reminders for SIPs, KYC updates and portfolio reviews go out irregularly.

Wealth-tech features we deliver

  • Digital onboarding

KYC status checks with KRAs, PAN and bank verification, FATCA declarations and nominee capture.

  • Risk profiling

Configurable questionnaires and scoring, stored alongside each recommendation.

  • Portfolio consolidation

CAS parsing and Account Aggregator data with XIRR, asset allocation and capital gains views.

  • Transaction journeys

Lump-sum, SIP, switch and redemption orders via exchange platforms, with mandate registration.

  • Adviser workspace

Client segments, review schedules, notes and model portfolios for relationship managers.

How it works

How an investor goes from onboarding to a quarterly review

The cycle repeats each quarter, with the adviser working from the same data the investor sees.

  1. Investor app

    Step 1: Investor onboards

KYC status is checked with the KRA, PAN and bank account are verified, and FATCA and nominee details are captured in one flow.

  2. Investor app

    Step 2: Risk profile recorded

A questionnaire set by your compliance team scores risk appetite and stores it with a date, ready for later suitability checks.

  3. Portfolio engine

Step 3: Holdings brought into one view

CAS statements or Account Aggregator data are parsed into a single portfolio with returns and asset allocation calculated.

  4. Adviser workspace

    Step 4: Adviser proposes changes

The relationship manager compares the portfolio with a model portfolio and records the recommendation and its reasoning.

  5. Transaction service

Step 5: Orders placed through the exchange platform

Lump-sum, SIP and switch orders go to the exchange mutual fund platform, and allotments flow back into the portfolio automatically.

  6. Client reports

Step 6: Reports and the next review

Capital gains, goal progress and a review reminder reach the investor each quarter, with no spreadsheet work for your team.

Then it starts again at step 1: Investor onboards

Plain-English glossary

Wealth-tech terms without the jargon

CAS
Consolidated account statement: one statement listing an investor's mutual fund and demat holdings across fund houses. Reading it automatically builds a full portfolio without asking clients to type anything.
XIRR
A return figure that accounts for money going in and out on different dates, as happens with SIPs. It gives clients an honest yearly return instead of a misleading simple percentage.
KRA
KYC registration agency: a body that holds investors' KYC records for the securities market. Checking status there first spares existing investors from repeating KYC with you.
Model portfolio
A reference mix of funds or assets an adviser uses as a template for a risk profile. Comparing each client against it shows at once who has drifted and may need rebalancing.

Cost drivers

What shapes a wealth platform estimate

  1. Asset classes covered

Mutual funds alone are simpler than adding equities, bonds, PMS and insurance holdings.

  2. Transaction capability

View-only tracking avoids exchange integration, mandate handling and order reconciliation.

  3. Reporting depth

Lot-wise capital gains, benchmark comparisons and branded PDF reports add calculation and testing work.

Estimates are written from your scope, with the effort and assumptions behind each line item.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you parse CAS statements and calculate XIRR correctly?

Yes. Consolidated account statements from the RTAs and depositories follow consistent structures, and we parse transactions into a normalised ledger per folio. XIRR is calculated from dated cash flows, and capital gains use FIFO lots with grandfathering where it applies. Because tax rules change in budgets, the calculation logic sits in a versioned module with test cases you can review. A qualified professional should still check tax reports before clients rely on them.

Can our app place mutual fund orders directly?

If your firm has access to BSE StAR MF or NSE's mutual fund platform as a distributor or adviser, we integrate with its APIs for lump-sum, SIP, switch and redemption orders, plus mandate registration for SIPs. Order status and allotments are reconciled back into your portfolio records. Without that access, we can start with tracking and review features and add transactions once your registration and platform onboarding are complete.

Should the app give automated investment recommendations?

Automated suggestions carry regulatory implications that depend on whether you are an adviser or a distributor and how the output is presented. We can build model portfolios, rebalancing alerts and goal calculators, but the logic, disclosures and suitability checks must come from your compliance team. If AI summarises portfolios or answers client questions, we restrict it to factual data, log every response and route anything resembling advice to a person.
